Fantasy Football – Ranking the 2011 Rookies

It’s probably a little early to be projecting, but I’d rather do this then courtroom football. Certain situations still need clarity, like will the Panthers bring in Volek and will the Colts re-sign Addai, among other questions. Thus this list should be fluid. Neverthess, here’s are quick top 5 at each position for the 2011-12 season.
If you want to read more about the players click the position above the ranks to read my Draft preview on the position.
Quarterback
- Colin Kaepernick (SF)
- Cam Newton (Car)
- Christian Ponder (Minn)
- Andy Dalton (Cinn)
- Jake Locker (Tenn)
- You really shouldn’t expect anything from this rookie QB class this season.
Running Back
- Mark Ingram (NO)
- Delone Carter (Indy)
- Ryan Williams (AZ)
- Mikel Leshoure (DET)
- Daniel Thomas (MIA)
- Alex Green (GB), Roy Helu/Evan Royster (Wash), Jacquizz Rodgers (ATL), and Da’Rel Scott (NYG) found themselves in potentially advantageous situations. Ridley & Vereen (NE)-Ridley is the bruiser ala Maroney, meanwhile Vereen can fly and is probably the next Faulk.
Wide Receiver
- Julio Jones (ATL)
- A.J. Green (Cinn)
- Greg Little (Cle)
- Jonathan Baldwin (KC)
- Leonard Hankerson
- Randall Cobb (GB), Titus Young (Det), Jernigan (NYG), & Vincent Brown (SD) could significantly move up the depth chart depending on the off-season. Edmond Gates is going to be the speed receiver Ginn never was for the Dolphins and Cecil Shorts III could be an immediate contributor.
Tight End
- Lance Kenricks (StL)
- Kyle Rudolph (Minn)
- D.J. Williams (GB)
- Luke Stocker (TB)
- Rob Housler (AZ)
- Jordan Cameron leads a bunch of raw prospects.

What a great web log. I spend hours on the net reading blogs, about tons of various subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.
