Here are Madden 2012 Player Ratings that I’ve created for the 2011 NFL season. I created these ratings by comparing past rookies in the John Madden series as well as my own knowledge and opinion. I encourage everyone to comment and share their thoughts so that we can come up with accurate ratings. The game and ratings don’t come out for more than a month, so let’s have some fun. You’re kind of foolish to think that those quarterbacks are nearly that fast. I would be amazed if ANY of those players were rated as fast as you have them. Maybe Cam, but I doubt it. Only a few 250 pound players in the game had 85 speed last year.

You’re absolutely right. The speed ratings were way off, as the top picks last year had speed ratings of 66, 79, 57, 74, and 88. I focused my efforts on passing but still not an excuse for such poor ratings. Good call. Let me know what you think of the adjustments.

kapernick should have stronger arm than newton, tyrod taylor should be slower (like 85, 84)…stanzi definitely has a stronger arm than 81. overall pretty good ratings, thanks keep it up

why is Locker slower than Cam Newton???
Locker had a faster 40yard dash time
Stanzi should have like an 86 throw power
tyrod taylor should have a 84 or 85 speed

I’ve made those adjustments. Probably did go a little low on Stanzi. Although I like him, as I’ve written, arm strength is a limitation. Moved TT’s speed down, had him that high because it was Armani Edward’s initial rating as a QB. Thought I saw something where Cam had 95 TP and not CK, but I’m happy to put them on level footing since Kaepernick has the heater.

Nope. Simply forgot to list him. Had I ranked him, he would probably have had a 72 rating, great arm strength, & limited mobility to be brief.
