2011-2012 Fantasy Football Tight End Rankings

Ranking the Tight Ends this year can be tricky. After that first four and next three, a lot will depend on your league settings. Some injuries at the top, but nothing that can’t be overcome (See: Gronk replacing Gates on my team last year).
You want to grab one of the top four. If not, think the next three will be high scorers with Davis thriving with Smith (but for how long?), Lewis rising everyday, and Daniels could be top 5 if plays 16. Next upside guys and one on the downside but in a great situation with maybe enough left. Hernandez should be big in ppr, Cook is a sleeper, Keller steps up during the playoffs, and Pettigrew took nice jump but who much will Staff target him. Next five shows you the depths and matchups are feasible this year if you get locked out of a premier player. Top 20 TEs.
1. Antonio Gates
2. Jermichael Finley
3. Dallas Clark
4. Jason Witten
5. Vernon Davis
6. Jimmy Graham
7. Owen Daniels
8. Marcedes Lewis
9. Greg Olsen
10. Rob Gronkowski
11. Tony Gonzalez
12. Jared Cook Jr.
13. Aaron Hernandez
14. Brandon Pettigrew
15. Lance Kendricks
16. Dustin Keller
17. Todd Heap
18. Zach Miller
