Even if Peyton Manning only misses one game, do you still think the Colts are the 8th best team? I understand Houston has been average for a long, long time, but a lot of people are thinking that this may be the year they eclipse 8 wins.

Houston has been close and this could be their year. After solving their redzone woes last year with Arian, Phillips should remarkably improve the defense this year. In all of his previous jobs he’s done so (going from near last to low teens, three times) and he has to the tool to do it with the Texans, which had a good draft and got Joseph as well.
Working on my season predictions right now which I plan to post next week.

how are the steelers and saints ranked so high after a loss? i mean they both lost to decent teams but the steelers didn’t even put up a fight. they looked terrible. And the packers offense is almost impossible to stop, but you don’t take into consideration the saints defense gave up 40 + points including a 108 yard return?

Unlike a lot of power rankings and top tens, I’m not going to overreact to one week’s game (for ex: Buffalo #9 in King’s rankings). Saints came close to scoring at the end but still as I watched Sunday night I thought NOLA would beat either of those teams. As for Pitt they’ll face a lot of criticism this week but perfect bounceback opportunity against Sea. They have a easy schedule and @Balt was one of their toughest games. I know they’re getting old, but I’m not done with them yet.
